PERSONAL SAFETY
- Always check with parents or caregivers before going anywhere.

- Always try to travel with a buddy or in a group.

- Do not accept gifts or money from someone unless parents say it is ok.

- Tell your parents or a trusted adult if you are touched in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable or in an area a bathing suit normally covers.

- Only talk to strangers when in the company of your parents or caregiver.

- If scared or in need of help, call 9-1-1.

- Never keep secrets that make you feel bad.

- Always trust your feelings.

- If home alone, never tell anyone and don’t answer the door.

- If you get separated from your parents/caregiver in a public place (like a store), go to a cashier or security guard and tell them that you are lost. Do not leave the store to wander around looking for them.
